The JSALIS Annual Nathan Cowan Memorial Clinic
In the summer of 2002, the first Nathan Cowan Memorial Clinic was run through the Junior Sailing Assocation of Long Island Sound (JSALIS). Bernard Luttmer and Oskar Johansson donated their time to do a day-long clinic for the Laser and Laser Radial sailors. The proceeds of the clinic will go to toward local sailors. The clinic was set up to allow up-and-coming Laser and Radial sailors the opportunity to get quality coaching. The clinic also spreads awareness in regards to the dangers of traveling to regattas.
